Our Story

The Fisential Story

Fisential is a new name for an established team of digital innovators having deep experience and great accomplishments.

We began working with financial institutions in 1998 when we were selected to design and develop the website for the credit card giant, MBNA America Bank. Over the course of the next eight years we not only created a version 2.0 and 3.0 for MBNA.com, but we also designed and built websites for MBNA Europe, MBNA Canada, Platinum Plus for Business, MBNA Treasury, MBNA PeopleNet (the company intra-net site,) and other MBNA web properties, landing pages and digital ads. After MBNA America was sold to Bank of America in 2006, we continued to provide services to Bank of America and MBNA Europe.

Our next financial clients were AIG Bank, RBC Trust Company, Westover Capital Advisors, and WSFS Bank. We designed and developed complete websites for each of those companies. We began working with WSFS Bank in 2007 and for nine years provided all website design, upgrades, maintenance, banner ads, promotions, landing pages, microsites, and subsidiary websites including Christiana Trust, Array Financial, Cypress Capital Management, Cash Connect, and others.

In 2012 we won a national award from the US Treasury for a savings app we developed called My Next Car, and we were featured in a White House video as a financial technology innovator. The following year we won another national award in the FinCapDev Challenge in San Francisco for our Down Payment Saver mobile app.

Recently, we designed and launched new websites for RBC Trust, the American Gift Fund and MidCoast Community Bank.
